Our Organization
Dress To Lead is a youth empowerment nonprofit dedicated to developing confident, purpose-driven leaders. We provide mentorship, leadership development, and career readiness programs that equip youth people with skills and confidence to succeed in school, careers. and life.
Founded by Candace E. & Stacey H., Dressed to Lead was built from lived experience. As two women who grew up with limited resources but unlimited dreams, we made a promise in 2002 at Seneca High School to one day come back and make a difference for youth facing the same struggles we once did. Today, that promise lives through this organization

Annual 2026 Impact Goals
Serve 50–100 youth annually through leadership cohorts
Provide 100+ professional clothing packages
Host 12+ leadership workshops per year
Establish 15+ local business and community partnerships
After completing a 6-week program, participants will:
Demonstrate improved public speaking confidence
Complete a professional resume
Participate in mock interviews
Develop a personal leadership plan

At Dressed to Lead: College Prep, we prepare youth ages 14–21 to step into college and life with confidence, skills, and purpose. Our program goes beyond academics by providing professional attire, resume and application workshops, mentorship, and leadership training that equips students to succeed. Over six weeks, participants gain the tools, guidance, and support they need to navigate college admissions, interviews, and career pathways, transforming self-doubt into confidence and potential into leadership. With your support, we can reach more students, provide critical resources, and ensure that every young person has the opportunity to show up prepared, shine, and lead their future.
